Adam and I had been waiting months to get into a hot, new, local restaurant. I was pretty pissed when we got there, waited nearly an hour to sit and then found out that they didn't have any highchairs. Well, hell if I was leaving after waiting forever just to get a seat in this joint. So I did what any clever person would do – I went to the car, got my emergency bungee cords and pretty much strapped a 1-year-old Ella into the seat at our table. Regardless of several stares, gasps and a few questions from Adam – it worked like a charm. And seriously, the elasticity of the cords on this contraption alone would have her bouncing back up if she were to fall over or anything. I would say I really “sprung” into action and she was actually quite happy as a bound up baby hostage.
